School assignment for 3D and 2D.
Watchtower in Art Nouveau style.
2D watchtower
Thecnical drawing of the watchtower.
It had to be a drawing of the front, side and top of the tower.
The silhouettes had to have detail. This is for later when it will be made in 3D.
Moodboards are important.
I went on Pinterest and made several moodboards for this project.
One for Art Nouveau in general, one for the objects in that time and one for the Watchtower.
Sketches, the moodboards gave me a lot of inspiration.
Here are all the sketches I made.
Silhouettes, by choosing several sketches and combining them.
After the silhouettes were done I let some friends of mine choose.
Silhouette number 8 is the winner.
But it needed some modifications.
When the main silhouette was finished it was time to draw the detail.
Here the lines that I used for all views.
3D watchtower
I used the 2D drawings as reference.
The main part of this building are the curls.
In the curl around the middle part are supposed to be stairs.
The balkony is formed out of flower "petals".

My favorite part of this watchtower is the glass!
This project is divided in 4 parts.
The subjcts 3D and 2D are combined.
