For the home assignment of Illustrated & AnimatedStorytelling I chose: De Ontmoeting (the meeting).
Sina Cleocobra is a character I created, I use for a board game calledDungeons & Dragons.
In this comic you get to know the backstory of her magical warlock powers.
Warlocks get their powers from a patron. The creatures that serve as guardians for warlocks are powerful inhabitants from differentuniverses. No gods, but almost divine in their power. They are usually evil and cunning.

Short background story Sina:
Sina's parents really wanted a girl, and finally the sixteenth child was born,a girl.Shabaka, the eldest brother, became jealous of Sina. He felt abandoned by his parents sinceSina's birth and no longer felt appreciated.
He no longer got the attention he deserved... according to him.
Shabaka didn't want to understand that his parents loved their sons as much as they lovedtheir daughter. This jealousy was taken over by another six of the 15 brothers and together they decided to make Sina's life as difficult as possible.
Fortunately, there were still nine brothers who were nice with Sina. One of those brothers named Ammon gave Sina a teddy bear because she couldn't sleep well.
When Shabaka found out, he took Sina's teddy bear and set up a blood ritual,to scare her.
This ended up getting completely out of hand.....

Process
First I made sketches on paper to gain insight into the layout.
I went to my illustration teacher for feedback. He told me I had show better that the teddy bear has been taken.
The facial expressions were good.

I copied the drawings in Photoshop.First I made a quick sketch.
In the quick sketch I left a few scenes blank for the text. I've also made some adjustments.
After the quick sketch I made an extensive, detailed, sketch. This way I could make a clear line drawing.
I showed the resulting sketches to my “test committee”.
The middle page sketch stayed green, because of the typical appearance of the Lich.Dark, mysterious and green.
At the first hesitated if I would colour the line art or not.In the end the old paper look fit better.
This setup with feedback has helped me to achieve a final result that I can be satisfied with.
