We are in the year 3798.
The big war was 30 years ago, my generation has not experienced it. The problem is though that we need to put everything back together.
When my parents' tribe ran away from the chaos they found this place. It were a couple of abandoned temples.
Since than the tribe got pulled apart and the temples became a city.
After the war more people came and started building more cities.
Rumors started that the people of other cities were worst than the others, I think it are all stories and that the people are just scared of conflicts.
I want to know what's in the other cities.
This is my first Illustration of the schoolyear.
I had to make a background.
The theme I chose was a mix of old Asian temples and that really futuristic and Sci-Fi Asia (with neon lights).

I was sick for a week so the day of the paint over a girl gave me tips to make clouds and it helped a lot.
Everything was made in greyscale at first (it were to many layers to show).
When everything was coloured I thought that the lanterns were way to chaotic.
The second option was just a few lanterns, but the drawing still didn't convince me.
With eventually alot of tips of my friends and the teachers, I made a big chance, from making everything what was light dark and from dark to light, and changing the complete sky.
